Abolished flat scale for determining personal income tax

On January 01, 2021, the flat scale for the determination of personal income tax was canceled. Federal Law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation regarding the taxation of personal income exceeding 5 million rubles for the tax period" dated November 18, 2020. The law increases the personal income tax (PIT) rates from 13 to 15% for income exceeding 5 million rubles per year.
